A French pioneer of cool-climate Chile
When Frenchman Thierry Villard arrived in 1989, Casablanca was just emerging as Chile’s coastal white-wine frontier. Viña Villard became one of the valley’s first boutique wineries, championing the cool, fog-cooled climate that gives Casablanca its vibrant Sauvignon Blanc, elegant Chardonnay and silky Pinot Noir.
